Day 72: Monday, Again

I'm beginning to feel like I'm counting Omer here, instead of counting down when Josh returns.
Wanted to share a good laugh with everyone. I went to check on how the bantams were doing now that they are in a portion of the shed coop. Rodrigo was hiding under Big Blue. Go ahead and re-read that part. *shakes head* Poor Rodrigo, I'm starting to think he's has self-esteem issues. Big Blue, being the gorgeous and tolerant rooster that he is, was handling it well.
Walked outside this morning to feed the critters and was immediately shocked by how muggy it was. Generally speaking, we don't get muggy here. Its too chilly and there's too much ocean wind. Neither of which is happening today.
I'm leaving soon to take Tiger to her cataract surgery, her hubby is home thankfully on leave, but they could use some extra support. So that's me. I should return in plenty of time to pick up Vicky, our Chinese exchange student, at 4pm. I've warned the representatives, just in case. I realized last night that we hadn't made a Welcome to America sign for her. Not sure we can fit it in, either.
After that, we need to hit the market and get her whatever she'd like for her school lunches. I also need a few ideas for dinner. The way I eat now, I don't really do meals, but this is a teenager so we'll have to do the whole dinner table thing.
