Two days in a row - picy post

trystinnIts rather chilly out there, at 57F and drizzling consistently but I went out to take pictures anyway because I'm of the mindset that my yard is actually prettier when the plants are shiny with raindrops.
The chickens, however, disagree with me. I walked around the pen to the Bantie Barn, wondering where our little imps could be. Turns out the little devils were actually hiding in the Bantie Barn staying dry. I love the look of concern as they angrily gaze down at me:
Salt is doing great, brooding away happily. She's like a planetoid of chickendom:
Mamma Wendy and her duckling, Prima, are enjoying their new pen. Prima has grown so quickly s/he is almost the size of hir foster mom!
Poor Gracie keeps giving them her prized tennis ball, which they refuse to throw back:
Gracie keeps trying, though:
