trystinnStage 2 - Complete! We managed to get the 6 posts dug in and installed in an hour. Exterior fencing took another hour.
Stage 3 - Complete. Or mostly so, we reused some of the old fencing for the interior fencing and we'll have to replace it at some point but its good for now. Each pen is now 32x6 feet, with 1/4 of that covered so they have respite from the sun and rain.
The ducklings and adult ducks have been divided by breed.
Rouen pen (4) - 3 adolescent ducklings & 1 adult (Nera).
Mixed/KC pen (5) - 1 KC/Rouen mix adolescent duckling, 1 KC drake (Bernie), 1 KC hen (Lucy - when she's done with her batch of 11 ducklings), 1 KC/Runner mix (Mia) and our little mix duckling (Prima).
Blue Swede pen (10) - 8 adolescent ducklings & 2 adults. Future home of Black Swede (Babs).
Did I mention I found Babs, our Black Swede, on a nest of 14 eggs? *swoon* Crap. She's now in the bottom level of the brooder hutch.
