Pondering the Island Life

In the Pacific Northwest we make two types of plans, dry day plans and wet day plans. Of course dry is a relative thing, if its just sprinkling one wouldn't consider that a wet day. My weekend plans are:
Wet: make someone (who shall remain nameless but knows who she is) a Brighid doll. With regular breaks for archiving projects.
Dry: fixing the new "tunnel" in the rabbit pen, switching out the fences and trying to come up with a way to keep their pellet and hay dry.
So how about everyone else? Are your plans contingent upon rain or other suitably "out of your hands" kinds of things, not counting weather witching, of course!

My dry weather plans this weekend: Riding my horse and going to Adventure Island (water park).
Wet weather plans: huddling inside?
Have a great weekend!

I'm just hoping for a day of non-precipitation next Friday.

Date: 2006-09-15 07:08 pm (UTC)Although, the humidity is gone right now. And that, my dear, is a blessing. I am completely enjoying our weather. Sunny, mild, light breeze. In TN terms, that's pure heaven. :D
I have a pumpkin pie in the oven right now. I spent the early afternoon wit my HP having lunch at our local farmer's market and picked up the most amazing gourd rattle. Maybe a pic to follow later.
All in all, an excellent day so far.
