First off, Gracie is doing MUCH better! WHEW!

Watched the Earthsea miniseries on SciFi this week - damn was it horrible. At least with Mists of Avalon I was reasonably sure I read the same book they made the movie out of, I have no such allusions with Earthsea - oh, and the author is REALLY ticked off. Good on her.

Two observations:
1) Where did anyone ever get the idea that porn stars would make good spouses?
2) How come prostituion is illegal, yet pornography isn't? Logic fails me here. So if all those hookers downtown carried movie cameras, they'd be innocent of prostitution due to the wonderful defense: 'but we were shooting a porno, officer".
