Thinking inside the box...
Jun. 11th, 2005 11:30 pmWell the box arrived...and I think Mum's gone stark raving mad. Half the stuff she said was in there wasn't and there was at least two books in the box she's sent me on prior occasions.
Lots of litle stuff, she says. Now, "little stuff" in my Mum's world is often jewelry, little tschockes that require daily dusting, the odd letter seal (sometimes with wax, even) and expensive bookmarks.
You decide:
three skirts
two summer weight sweaters
four books on decorating
a blank journal
I couldn't find them in the above list, either.
On a bright note - my wonderful crazy sis sent me pics of her new beau, her beau's dog (Great Dane) and delightfully hysterical pics of both of them crossing a stream in their underwear with their clothes piled on top of their heads to stay dry.
Gotta love family. Haven't laughed so much at a family photo since I got the pics of my cousin's wedding where all of my immediate family members were glassy-eyed and red-faced from drinking.
Ahhh, the Irish.
