Bookstore Windows
Oct. 14th, 2007 01:43 pmI got the call earlier this week: Come do the bookstore windows for Halloween! Yeah, baby!
This year I chose a theme: Spells & Potions. Spent the first hour and a half of today's shift putting together a lovely spell potion window. Lots of herbs, little bowls, a mortar & pestle, a crystal ball, wands, candles, containers of exotic liquids. Gorgeous. I may have gone a bit over the top, but hey, isn't that what Halloween is all about? Can't wait to hear what the boss says. I put in a request to order a bunch of "spooky" spell books a'la Nicola de Pulford
The other window I kept very bland - child friendly, I believe is the term. Lots of stuffed animals (owls & cats), jack o'lanterns, cauldrons and stuffed witches. LMAO
Hopefully we won't get any complaints about the Spell & Potions window. *WEG* I took a ton of pictures, will post when I get home, so look for an update.

... although your description kind of reminds me of my kitchen *wide grin*
