On a winter's evening
Jan. 27th, 2008 11:12 pmOne of those nights I wish I had better outdoor lighting, as the softly falling snow is so beautiful and serene. Out front, cottontails are running amok through the snow covered spiral walk. I hope the owls are taking the night off from hunting. In Bunhala, the English Angoras are tucked in around Amber to keep her warm and Martha is running about, doing binkies and having a ball.
The porch bunnies are tucked in tight where no snow can get to them, they may not even have noticed. Fudge has returned to the house and is yowling for fresh milk. Must remember to set the alarm early to be up and about to replace the frozen water bottles and distribute more hay. I'm hoping there will be enough snow left at midmorning to take a few videos, sun strength permitting. Gods, the beaches must be indescribably gorgeous right now but I'm too warm and cozy to witness this evening.
