Well, I figure since it's pretty widely accepted, except by most Orthodox standards, it's just being "safe" :) And while it's not the reason for my wanting to convert, my boyfriend is a Conservative Jew. (I've had a desire to convert to Judaism since I was in high school. Dating a Jew...well, he kind of just dropped in my lap, per se.)
I've met with the Reconstructionalist rabbi here. She's really awesome. I think my personal beliefs probably lie somewhere between Reform and Reconstructionalist.
No plans for Passover. I'd like to try to find a seder though. What are you doing?
I'm supposed to be joining the Whidbey Island Jews, but I'll be driving back from attending a Cosan full moon down in Olympia that morning, so I'm a bit concerned about traffic drive times.
And, of course, missing Sabbat for Full Moon. Can't keep all the Gods happy at once, I've noticed.
