Elbow Woes
Feb. 3rd, 2009 06:43 pmMy lovely doctor diagnosed me with Tennis Elbow and has prescribed an air cast to protect it. Unfortunately, the Navy Hospital was out of adult sized arm slings so I had to order one from a local civilian pharmacy. I've exercises and a very large prescription of Piroxicam to tide me through the next few weeks. I'm supposed to keep it immobilized for the first week, something I have no idea how I'm going to do. We'll follow up in two weeks, with the possibility of PT if I want it.
Between the bunnies, dogs and the house I really do need my right arm. I will do my best, perhaps I can ask Wolfie to give me a hand with the rabbits. The dishes can wait, as can the garbage and recycling. I can likely manage the rest with my left hand.
Thankfully, I've a bottle of Lunesta tucked safely in my cupboard for tonight.
