trystinn | Ahhhh, home (sort of)

So we're back at Mom's in the Berkshires after spending the last three days (two nights) in Vermont at the Dorset Inn. We've managed to find the Special Edition "Nightmare Before Christmas" DVD we've been searching for and several CDs, as well at the large bookstore there.

I'm so brain dead, it isn't even ironic. Josh and I have passed from mopey over the pets to morose. There was the cutest little black lab puppy named "Anise" at the Inn, who is in training to become the Official Dorset Inn Doggie. Too cute for words and we're all thinking of the new pup the folks are getting this month.

So somewhere over dinner it was realized that (SHIT!) Josh and I haven't really talked to anyone about our plans for the "Delayed Reception & Handfasting", which we really need to do. Since the family (NATCH) moved us from a May date to a June (18th good for everyone?) date-to-be-determined - there's some drama involved. Hoping Mom & I can sit down and plan out the wedding registry and some kind of education packet to send out to folks as to what a pagan handfasting involves...apparently, I need to submit some kind of plan to the folks so they can figure out their role in it all.

Hmn...
