trystinnAs typically happens around here, everything exciting happens when I'm naked. Or nearly so.
Getting out of the shower this afternoon, I heard a kerfuffle outdoors and ran to a window to investigate. A crow, apparently attracted to the yard by a Dead Thing (aka Libby's handywork) had taken up residence in Duckgard. And Brutus wasn't having that. Standing on the tips of his webbed feet, hissing and wonking in his hoarse drake voice he was giving that crow Hell. Predictably, Bernie & Phil hid behind the furiously quacking girls.
Needless to say, the crow really didn't care. I finally chased the crow out and onto my neighbor's garage roof. I expect he'll make another go of it, especially if it gets him the same kind of attention from the flock. For entertainment, if nothing else.
