Flexeril Makes Me Stupid

Tonight, I showed up two days early to take care of a friend's bunnies. I checked my records, seems I copied it down incorrectly from my written event calendar to my computerized one. And had it in my head that way, as well. An unusual mistake for me. Ugh. Poor Tina. Scared the ever living hell out of her. *Sorry!*Sorry!*Sorry!*

Ladies and Laddies who've been on Flexeril, is this the norm? If so, any advice?

Um. Whenever I'm on Flexaril, it's difficult to stop sleeping or eating Doritos. No help here. Sorry. :)

I'm having the opposite issue with sleep, I can't stay asleep on Flexeril - only nap, so I don't dare take it past 4pm. I've also lost my appetite, though that may be from the pain itself and not the medication, granted.

The stuff always made me stupid. Of course, when I was taking it it was on top of (Ibuprofen (800mg)|Dolobid (500mg)|Ansaid (100mg)) [that's an Or list] so it might have been the combo of the two.

We might have a winner, there. I've been taking Ibuprophen when I can't take the Flexeril (i.e. when I have to drive, etc.)

I think I'm so used to Flexeril that even when I take it with my Lorcet, I'm fine.

Will, however, gets seriously loopy. And then falls asleep.

Flexeril makes many folks "stupid" -- or at least less functional than usual. I have lots of theories, but for right now it looks like this just might be a simple human error -- and those happen all the time to almost everybody. Forgive and move on.

Yeah, it makes a lot of folks looped out if they aren't used to it.

I have no idea how to reduce the symptoms. I also took it at evening/night so I never had to actually function on it.

Don't take Flexeril.

Do go see a chiropractor, do find a good physical therapist, and do take chondroitin glucosamine, and do start actively working on probiotics.

Flereril is evil and will do you a lot of physical harm.
