Babysitting :D

trystinnOur neighbor's daughter, Alex, is over for a few hours while her parents slug it out in family court. Custody battle in the ugliest sense.
But Alex is a delight. She's about 5 now and we've already used up all our Pixar and age-appropriate movies. So we've got out the Mermaid and Faerie Barbies, the Hello Kitty house and the Hamtaro house. Oh and the rock collection. Because the Hello Kitty house residents wanted a rock garden. And pagan houses, as we all know, tend to have really cool rocks.
Josh is touching up the paint in the house, having lit the woodstove earlier to warm up the house enough to dry the paint. Once he's done, he's going to bring out the construction toys and the Matchbox cars. I think that's basically it for the toys around here, so we may actually end up playing Wii.
Update: Hobo has discovered Alex and its love at first sight.
