Woke up with a headache and aura, bordering on migraine. Took the migraine meds and drank a cup of coffee, which often helps stave off the worst of it. Its a very foggy here, so thick I can't see the neighbor on the corner or the far corner of my backyard. If anything, it seems to be getting worse, the driveway is getting foggier as I type.

Definitely going to be a slow morning.

Gorgeous autumnal morning here. Five loads of wash in process, a bit of touch up painting to do on my car, and maybe I'll mow the grass in the back yard.

I have no idea where my morning went. How did it get to be afternoon?

Hope you managed to eliminate the potential migraine.

So far, so good. Not doing anything nutty like lowering my head to reach into the dryer, for instance. Just taking it very, very easy.

I hope you'll be feeling better soon. Do you find that the change of weather sets off your migraines? I found that I could sometimes stop the migraine process by getting in the shower and alternating hot and cold water on my head. Ginger tea with only a little honey can sometimes help too.

Your fog sounds beautiful! We have only had one real fog so far, but the mists have begun: Mabon sunrise and sunset both, the Sun was a huge perfect ball, red as a Maraschino cherry. Can't wait for Harvest Moon this Saturday; it'll be up half an hour before sunset, and if this weather holds, it's going to look like the Great Pumpkin rising over the horizon.

Very much so! Barometric pressure is HUGE with my migraines, especially those that start behind my right eye - I have a suspicion those are cause by a nerve and blood vessel combination.

Whidbey Island is known for fog, I'm only about 30 feet above sea level at my home. I didn't used to get migraines before I moved to Western Washington. I do wonder if its the weather. :(
