Wire women experiencing hot flashes to power lines and watch the meters run backwards. We can put a man on the moon, can we put a peri-menopausal woman on the grid?

*exhaustive fanning*

Quick, someone make me a power surge or hot flash icon. The Queen of Supernatural Hotness commands you!

I love that 'if desired add booze' portion! Will have to add a few of those things to the go to market list.

hey, booze is made from plants and herbs.. its medicinal, right?

well, some of it is.......

i know there is some research that says "healthy fats" like coconut oil, avacado, and Flax and Fish oils are good for menopause symptoms. i am not at that point, but i know some folks who take Udo's oil blends for it... (a basic good oils blend in the health food store)

besides, i think there is something innately soothing about a blender. crushed ice... fruit... tropical flavors.....
maybe its like a draft in a hot room is so noticeable. maybe if you took a vacation to jamaica or hawaii or someplace the hot flash wouldnt be as noticeable.....

a couple of summers ago i purchased a "neck-dana" thing. it's a tube made from a bandana with little "rocks" inside that soak up/swell when doused in water for a few minutes. then you wrap it around your neck and the slow evaporation helps keep you cool. no drips! no mess! it works fabulously for me during an AUGUST (whew!) event i help host. i've found it's just the ticket for those hot-flashes/heavy-sweats days too. ;)

Ah, I well remember those things from my days in Arizona. Thanks for the reminder, I'll give it a shot.
