Furkid Update

trystinnWe brought a very drugged Flash home from the vet yesterday afternoon. Poor thing couldn't walk in a straight line, but he refused to not be involved in anything we were doing so he kept staggering out like a Kennedy on a three day leave. Libby immediately took control of the situation and curled up with him, because when Libby wants to nap he naps. She's now finished her kitten vaccinations and according to the vet, is old enough to spay. Oh my. She seems so little!
Noir is in fine health, but Nyx has both an eye ulcer and a respiratory infection. We discussed putting her in the infirmary during her treatment but decided changing her environment would likely put too much stress on her and removing her from Noir wouldn't be good, either. Nyx has a follow up appointment on Thursday to check on the infection and re-check the eye.
Given that I missed Furkid Friday photos, here's a pic of Libby curled up with Flash post-teeth cleaning:
